Second Stage of "Expedition Around The World" — all the same faces!
22:39 24.09.2007

A group of people dressed in orange T-shirts left the autumnal Moscow on September 22nd to start the second stage of the around-the-world expedition in Latin America.

We are pleased that alongside with "Expedition" employees the team consists of three "Expedition-Trophy 2005/2006" participants — Edgars Zakis (4x4 Team Latvia), Pavel Rusinov and Nikolay Lantukh (Off Road Club Ekaterinburg). All of the three are experienced travelers and reliable companions, that is why we are certain that the expedition will be a success. As you probably know, the goal of "Expedition Around The World" is to find "the Russian trace" all over the world.

At present the expedition participants settle the last organizational issues: vehicles customs clearance (we remind you that they travel in two orange off-road vehicles that have already run the first North-American stage of the journey) and supply of necessary equipment and food. The latter is more than just serious: most of the time the travelers will have to spend in the open and overnight under the starlit South-American sky.

The route of the second stage will cover the territory of Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Argentine, Brazil. The trip will traditionally last for two weeks. The detailed news on the run of the Expedition you will find at the site of the project around-the-world.ru.
