On Saturday, the 4th of August, the third Selection round for the 2008 Trophy was held near Novosibirsk. The Organizers are quite satisfied with the results — both the teams formed at the selection had shown ability to pass the tasks consistently and correctly, showing surprisingly good timing results.

To handle such tasks as searching for Cultural navigation points, going through 47 kilometers of a road legend and finding a way up to a lost lighthouse on the Ob River the participants took only 5 hours.

After dinner, that the participants also had to look for with a compass, by 7 p.m. two teams representing Siberia applied for participation in "Expedition-Trophy 2008".
