On the 25th of February 2008 at 10:00 the final CP will start. Two hours till its start a pre-start captain briefing with the lottery of CP starting positions will be held.

This CP is the final trial that will define the winner of the Preface or the Race Open Stage. 12 crews of the Preface claim the laurels of the winner. Three more crews came off during the Stage. The rest 18 cars belong to the Golden Contest teams.

The CP will take place on the Northern Dvina ice by Arkhangelsk central embankment. After its finish the Open Stage winners will be awarded, and the Golden Contest teams will receive envelopes with the task for the next Stage.

The finish of the Stage may be fixed only when all the tasks are fulfilled correctly and in due time.

Right from the river's ice the teams will rush off to the 2nd Stage.

It should be noted that in case of victory the Preface crew is allowed to form one Golden Contest team by uniting with any other crew and to fight for the gold on common terms.
